Deskjet 450
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer was unplugged and off when some water fell on it.  The battery was in.  I wiped the little bit of water from the unit, removed the battery and let the printer sit for a few days before attempting to turn it on.  When I plug it in and push the power button, the paper and ink indicators blink once but the printer will not turn on at all.  Is it  repairable or is it toast?

Failure to boot on an inkjet often results in a dead printer.  If you have any remaining warranty on your printer then contact HP to get it swapped out right away.  If not then you will likely be out of luck as Inkjets are not normally intended to be repaired at this level of difficulty and should be tossed.

Thanks very much for your reply.  I guess I'm not surprised ....  :Crying:
