Hmm ... looking at the 5530 here on my desk, I can confirm that it definitely has a USB port.
The prices you mention seem to come from currys.co.uk, where the description of the 5532 confirms what was said earlier:
"This Printer is our exclusive version of the HP Envy 5530, and comes with an extra set of HP 301 ink in the box."
PS I would take the "previous price" of £109 with a pinch of salt, as the price I paid in September 2014 was £69.

I also wondered about this. Other answers about extra ink may well be true but here is something tangible.
Comparing the 5530 specification:
http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=A9J40B&opt=BHC&sel=PRN
and the 5532 specification:
http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=A9J40B&opt=BHC&sel=PRN
the only major difference spotted, in a non-forensic "side-by-side", is in the copier specification. The 5532 has a maximum copies of 50 while the 5530 has 20.
Hope this helps.
PS. The 5532 page has extra information about print speeds.
