HP ENVY 5540
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have to re-install my HP ENVY 5540 printer following a PC crash. When installing it is asking me for a WPS PIN. I don't have this so my question is......where can I find this information?

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you need WPS pin to install your HP ENVY 5540 printer.

I would like to help you resolve this issue.

  • Find the password from a computer connected to the wireless network.
  • In Windows, search for view network connections, and select View network connections from the search results.
  • Right-click the network name, then click Status.
  • Click Wireless Properties.
  • Click the Security tab, then click the Show characters check box to see the wireless network password.

Click here to refer the document and perform troubleshooting steps to fix this issue.

If the issue is resolved and you appreciate my help,

Please click the "Accept as Solution" button and the "Thumbs Up".

Let me know how you make out.

Cheers.
