Why does my printer always say its offline and how do I change it

I had a Cisco (UPC) Modem update to model EPC3925 & now every time I try to print anything I keep getting told that my PRINTER is OFFLINE & I use to be able to print from my APPLE iPad because my HP PHOTOSMART PRINTER is get up to WIRELESS but not it can not find the PRINTER...why is this happening and how do I fix it...

Hi george98,

I understand you're unable to keep your printers status from changing to 'offline'. I recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor to resolve any possible software issues.

I understand when trying to print it shows the printer is offline.

Did you run the HP Print and Scan Doctor?

What were the results?

What operating system are you using? (winxp, win7, win8, win8.1)

What is the full name and product number of your printer?

How is the printer connected? (usb/ethernet/wireless)
