My hp printer can print off 4 by 6 but every time i try printing 5 by 7 the paper gets jammed.

I understand that your printer is not accepting 5x7 paper. 

Not to worry, I will be glad to help. 

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?

May I know which printer you are using?

Have you selected the correct paper size in the application you are using to print?

Have you tried to print from any other application?

Is the paper thickness supported by the printer?
How is the printer connected to your computer? (USB or wireless.)

What is the operating system installed on your computer?

Request you provide more information for better assistance.
