I'm only listing the complications I see, feel free to ask for more info. I've been thru the troubleshooters, reset everything, the printer was manually added and continually shows up in the Allowed MAC List. Even hearing that someone else had this issue would be a relief as I've seen nothing indicating past the connectivity fail issue.

The wireless test page results as follows:

DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS

>Connectitivity

      --Connected                                     Not Run

>Settings

     --No Filtering                              Fail

      --Channel                                          Not Run

CURRENT CONFIGURATION
      --IP Address                                      Not applicable

      --Configuration Source                 Not applicable

The DHCP connection is what worked but all the settings were already set as they needed to be.  All that changed is it sat next to the modem for a couple days with the power supply connected while I waited for the next opportunity to mess with it.  HP Wireless Printing Center - Troubleshooting Issues just took me to the settings where it listed the IP address and from that page I was able to print a successful wireless test page with no USB cable.

The doctor program then just needed to reinstall with wireless software.  No other issues as long as I use their program.  Don't type in the printer IP address because that had its own list of issues.
