Hi all,
I am trying to achieve something which i dont know if its possible...
I am having one HP DESKJET 3050A J611 series and I have installed in a wireless network with one router i was havin which is not connected to internet.
In this network i just have the printer and some android devices connected to it.
I used a laptop (which will not be there once everything is working) in order to configure the printer to the WIFI and then I used my android device using the HP printer control app to manage the printer.
Till here everything is ok. My printer connects to WIFI and my android hp printer control tool allows me to detect the printer as well as to maange things like printing test page, align cartridges, etc...
The problem comes when I try to print a doc. I have one MS Doc in my device and I want to print it using this configuration. But when i go to the printer control tool I see one tab for files, pictures, etc... When i enter into that tap no docs are there. I dont know how to place docs into there in order to be sent to the printer.
I have also tried with eprint but I see it requires internet webservices to communicate with the printer. And that will not be possible as my network does not have internet connection...
So which is the best way for my android device to communicate with the printer using wireless (no internet) and to be able to print that MSWord document?
Thanks a lot for reading it 🙂
Best regards,
Biel

Hi Byle,
I have the information your looking for. If you look at the following link you will find what is supported.
Apple : Photos, PDFs, text (TXT) files, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint, including those received as email attachments and webpages.5
Android : Print photos or PDFs. Save scanned images or documents as JPGs or PDFs and upload to popular Cloud Storage services like Dropbox.
What file formats are supported
It looks like Andriod does not support Microsoft Word as you hoped. You could try changing the document to a PDF format. If you need help changing file formats you can try downloading Kingsoft from Play Store this will allow you to open the document and re-save it as a PDF.
I hope this helps
