Product: HP f4480
My printer makes a loud clicking sound when I print or turn it's on. I'm afraid it's just going to break soon because I don't know how to stop the sound.

If issue still exists, then its time you replace the printer.

If you are in USA, then call HP Tech Support 1-800-474-6836

Hi,

 

Can you please check if your printer is connected directly to a wall outlet.

 

Normally the printer would make some noises when it starts to print or even when it starts up as the carriage where the cartridge sits will start to move left to right

Good Morning,

Im sorry to hear your having this loud noise situation with your F4480 .

I was able to find a fix on the forums for this issue

Go to The Printer Makes a Grinding Noise When It is Turned On or Printing for solutions that might resolve the issue.
