That's sort of the point of this thread. If your wireless radio is truly off you can turn it back on via the tools function at the front panel, instructions are available on this site or the web somewhere.
If on the otherhand you have come to the same issue ( albeit much later than most) that was the cause of this thread- a non functional wireless card you have but 3 options. 1) find and buy a new wireless card and install it then begin the countdown anew or 2) attach it to a dedicated pc on your network and make it network visible or the path I chose 3) buy a newer better printer

Many people have reported a wireless card needing replaced, try this first. I remember the last time I used the printer I was working with the Bluetooth feature. I noticed the Bluetooth status light was off.
My Solution:
1. Go to > Setup > Network > arrow down > Restore Network Defaults
2. Unplug printer
3. Hold power button while plugging printer back in
4. Repower printer if needed
5. Go to > Setup > Bluetooth > arrow down > Bluetooth Radio
6. If radio is off, turn on * powering it off and back on might help - if it was previously on
7. Go to> Setup > Bluetooth > arrow down > Reset Bluetooth
8. Go to> Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard
9. Choose your router, enter passkey
10. Wireless restored!!!

I've posted some info on the boards and work around in another thread:
Summary in 2014:
Forget about finding an affordable replacement wireless modem
Use a wireless repeater with LAN ports
-Best of luck!

I FIXED THIS ERROR! All i did was "restore network defaults" which is under settings in the network area of your printer, and then it was able to find my router and finally accepted the password and now is connected again!!!! Error message is gone. Hope this helps for others!

Resetting it...turning it off..all the other things are useless..the radio card or WiFi card which ever you want to call it..is bad. I replaced mine and a year later it went out again. After contacting HP "support" which is a joke..they offered me a discount on what they said was a better printer...but their discount was still higher than buying it locally...total rip off. I switched to a Brother all in one...i'm very happy with it. I purchased the Brother MFC-J875DW whaich has EVERYTHING the HP has including the USB jump drive port. New at best buy it was 79.95.....Remember IF you do find a HP WiFi card for this printer you need to keep in mind they dont make the card anymore so whatever you find is OLD and how long it will work is anyones guess.and they now cost as much as a new printer....your better off to switch to something with better support.
