Hello,

I replaced the black ink cartridge a week ago and it worked fine until today.  The printer indicates that the cartridge is full. Today it faded out in the middle of a print and will not return. I have tried all the cleaning procedures recommended by HP with no success. I have also checked that the vent is not blocked.

 

Operating sys: Win 7 , 32 bit

Warranty expired dec 2013

 

Any suggestions how I should proceed would be welcome

I'd suggest reading from solution 3 down.  You have already stepped through solutions 1&2.

 

If none of that works then it would probably be a good idea to contact HP support in your area.  Here is a link to contact numbers:

I contacted hp support and they provide extended warranty service for the problem

i have same problem i already try to replace new black but still problem presist and head cleaning for how many times but no luck..

I would advise calling HP phone support about this - even if you're out of warranty - as you may require a replacement.
