This hint would probably really be the solution, thanks so much!
Unfortunately if I change the settings to this, it always goes back to "Access to anyone" as soon as I log off. Has anyone had this problem before and has a solution around this??
Really desperate right now to fix it!!
Thanks in advance!

I made the change on mine (and the system remembered it, unlike a EisMarcel, in a prior post).
- For USA, mine was:
Login to HP Smart and select printers https://www.hpsmart.com/us/en/ucde/my-printers
Click on Printer Options
Then I can see the ePrint Access and add authorized users.
I won't know for a while if this works as I don't email much to the printer and so far, only one got caught by Mimecast. Plus, the one that did get caught should have been from my main address - that HP shows as the owner, but I don't have a copy of it anymore.

I tried emailing from a different email and now it will not do anything! Was HP hacked by Mimecast? What is going on and why are you blocking me from using an important feature? This is absolutely unacceptable!!!! I have tried all the recommended things to do without success! You guys need to fix this immediately!!!!

I'm trying this solution but when I log in the website demands a printer claim code. When I go to print the page with the code from my printer, it says it's not connected to the internet - which is not true because it will accept wireless prints off my phone but not from emails sent to my hpeprint.com account anymore. Instead I get the "on hold due to spam" print out (which also proves it's connected to the internet!).
My printer also says it can't find my registration status (a problem I've admittedly had for a while now) which prevents me from printing out the printer claim code. The printer claims I am not connected to the internet (which again... is not true due to the fact I can print from personal devices via wifi & got the mimecast printout).
I have tried the unplug it for 30+ seconds trick & update the firmware as suggested on other parts of the troubleshooting website to fix the registration thing with no luck. According to the printer I am up to date.
So... unless I'm missing something, the only logical thing left to assume is that my printer is so old (HP Officejet Pro 8620) that the servers have changed with no means of updating the info &/or the solution is stuck behind a newly installed paywall.
This new mimecast spam issue doesn't impact my personal printing & scanning needs. But it dead stops my ability to print & scan for my work purposes!
My work email being designated as "spam" by mimecast has completely killed my work from home situation (we still haven't returned since march 2020). I am using a work loaned laptop so I do not have permissions to add my printer & they only allow me to connect to the internet via ethernet not wifi. So sending to my hpeprint.com account was the ONLY way I could print out things for work. If that's dead, then I'll have no other choice but to buy a new printer (probably not HP) even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with the one I have!
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. can I just say that sending a print that has non listed weblinks on it is just a moronic setup to begin with? While I appreciate the heads up as to why my print didn't go through, this as the "solution" - teasing us with an option to fix it by clicking release ON A PIECE OF PAPER - is just a slap in the face. And honestly feels like a mistake my grandparents would make. [/rant]

Due to I made a mistake by sending a photo to the printer, then I have encounter this problem, then I fixed the problem by remove and reinstall the Printer again. It works, by some stupid mistakes appears. on and off the printer print out a hard copy and ask me to select Release/Block/Permit. but there is no place for you to cancel the printing, Further more, there is not a digital link, How can you press on the paper to get the link. It is not only wasting my paper, it also shows the quality of the product is sub-standard. and the letter if not include a subject, it will consider as scan.
