deskjet ink advantage 3835
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey,

My problem occurs when I insert the cartridge heads.
After you insert the cartridge heads and close the printer door, I get the following error: error code 0x007c9c98 hw watchdog c

It is important to note that my ink cartridges are original HP cartridges.

Hey Bob,

I was already looking for a solution to my problem, the link you sent but could not find the solution to the problem

Did you turn on the printer, then unplug all the cables for sixty seconds, then plug the printer back in?  That is the only suggestion I have seen for this error, if that does not resolve the issue your printer will likely require service.

I have already done this, but unfortunately the problem has not been solved

If the troubleshooting steps failed you will need to have the unit serviced.  From the document:

Service or replace your HP product if you completed all preceding steps.

To see if your product is still under warranty, go to the warranty check website http://www.support.hp.com/checkwarranty. Contact HP Support to schedule a repair or replacement.

If you are in Asia Pacific, Contact HP Support to find a local service center in your area.

Repair fees might apply for out-of-warranty products.
