error code 322

I bought this product because I needed a fax machine. I have tried everything, if the recipeint's number is not busy, I get a Error 322. I don't know what a error 322 is, I have looked everywhere, I  can't fix the problem because the error code is no where to be found. Help!

Ok, so now, I forgot to tell you that this is a Officejet 4620 that will not fax, because of the above error code of 322.

that error says: "There was a communication error with the receiving fax machine due to poor telephone line conditions."

Are you using a regular phone/fax line or some type of VoIP/digital line? You need to contact your service provider for help to resolve such issues.
