I just purchased this HP OfficeJet 4650 last month and everytime i have tried to use it to print something from the internet, i get this code ERROR CODE OX007C9C98 AND EVERYTHING JUST FLASHES! now it just does it all the time! what the hell!! should i return it?

I understand you are getting a '0x' error on your HP OfficeJet Printer. Don't worry, though, as I have a few steps which should help to resolve the issue,
Please make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.
Remove all the ink cartridges and then try to perform a Hard reset on the printer.
* With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
* Remove USB cable, if present.
* Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
* Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
* Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
* Now insert the ink cartridges and then try to print a test document and check if it works
Next thing, I would suggest is to check for the latest firmware update if available for your printer, using this website.

Thanks for your response.. i did what you said 4 times and i am still getting the code OX007C9C98 and now another code has developed the other one is OXB837FB82.. so now i have two codes.. i managed to get it to print a few of the preloaded cross word games but as soon as it was done, the printer started flashing again and back to square one with the codes. I am returning it tomorrow to the Staples i bought it, I hope they do the right thing since it has been a little over a month but i have only used it a hand full of times and every time this has happened! I have never been able to print off the internet at all, i have only been able to make a copy of one thing and print out two preloaded games! Pretty rediculous. I also think the website is crap. Any other company you can type in your error code and see what the hell it is, neither one of these codes come up anywhere online! REDICK!!
