Hi
I'm trying to set up fax to folder. I configured fax to folder in the initial setup but the faxes are not arriving there. Moved folder to different user destop with full permissions. Fax test says OK and paper faxes are OK. I see no menu option to reconfigure fax operation or to check folder destination and settings? Tried to reinstall software suite but no fax setup runs. Can you help me?

Hello,
Please try these.
You can either install HP full solution software to configure the fax to folder -OR- through the Web Browser to confgure by accessing via printer's EWS pages.
Here are some tips to setup from the printer's EWS pages.
Precondition:
- Connect the PC and the printer into the same subnet.
- Create a shared folder with the read and write permissions on the PC.
- Check the IP Address of the PC and the printer.
Steps:
- Launch the Web Browser on the PC.
- Access the printer’s EWS by typing the printer’s IP address in the browser address bar.
- Click “Fax” on the Home page.
- Click HP Digital Fax-> Digital Fax Profile.
- Click “Setup” icon.
- Input the Network Path with \\PC IP address\shared folder or \\Hostname\shared folder and then click the “Next” button.
- Input the PC user’s username and password and then click “Next” button.
- Change the Settings as you want and then click “Next” button.
- Click “Save and Test” button. A test process bar prompts out during the testing.
- Configuration successfully message will prompt out.
- If there is a incoming fax received to the printer.
- Go to the shared folder on the PC to check the received fax.
Hope this helps for you.
Thank you.
