Apart from the port, it's the same solution (VISTA 64 bit driver), Qdlaczian  published on the first page of this thread. I have also tested this solution, but when the printer rans out of paper, it does not work any longer and I have to restart the printer.

Just download this driver http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=306506&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=2100

Extract, and use built in system add printer wizard, or add driver i device manager.

Don't use setup app.
