It's called "business".

Samsung want to corner their own market. The only way to do what you want is to buy a Samsung Printer then Bingo!!:smileyvery-happy:

HP won't help you - you've no doubt met the little chips they put on their ink units to stop you using

someone else's.:smileyfrustrated:

I don't find the SD card a problem. It works fine.:smileylol:

Kind regards

Looks like from all the above that Samsung devices won't shake hands with HP devices

or wireless LAN. :manfrustrated:

Can you transfer your material to a PC and print from there - USB or WIFI?:mansurprised:

Good luck.

If you read all the previous inputs to this forum, you will find suggestions but I'm afraid it looks as though it's not possible.

I've searched the Internet and can't find a Samsung wireless inkjet either!!

Someone else on this forum might be more helpful.

Does your machine have a USB connection? If so why not try Samsung's Kies software?:manlol:

Good luck

So here is another question ... why does the Samsung Galaxy S4 phone allow you to connect directly to my HP Wireless Printer, but not the tablet?   My son has the S4 and from the browser, photo, and email apps ... we can connect directly to the HP printer on my wifi network.  We do not get the same Samsung printer message that we are getting on the tablet.  It is running Android 4.2.2, and the tablet is on 4.1.2, so not sure how much difference that makes?

HP .. any ideas?

Perhaps the 'phone is newer and has extra software/apps.

Have you tried asking Samsung - don't mention HP or they

will probably tell you they know nothing about it.

Just ask in general terms like: "How do I print to a wireless printer?"

(Add printer on a LAN if you like.)

Good luck.

See if you can upgrade Android via Kies - free from Samsung.

Check out Samsung apps see if they've added any.

Just found this - might help:

The major printer makers all offer their own mobile apps for on-the-go printing from iOS and Android mobile devices, with the signal transmitted by one of the above means. Brother’s iPrint&Scan, HP’s ePrint, Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint, and Epson’s iPrint are the leading examples. However, an emerging related feature is support for Google Cloud Print, which is a sprawling technology that allows for remote printing, in a bigger-picture sense, from most device types. Mobile devices can access Cloud Print via apps, and ordinary computers can use it via Chrome or some third-party utilities. Cloud Print is a complex concept; see Google’s good overview of it here. But know that specific Cloud Print support within the printer itself is a premium feature that may be worth looking for.
