how can i print from my samsung galaxy tab to my hp printer

WWRELESS CONNECTION BLUE LIGHT ON PRINTER CONTINUES TO FLASH.

I have been able to print a form which i assume is from either the printer or computer.  I'm not that computer savvy.

ACTION TAKEN ON MY PART:

Followed HP's Networked printer troubleshooting direcctions .

Downloaded CONNECTION HELP FROM INTERNET.

i like the concept and i want it to work.

I have downloaded the HP eprint app to my tablet.  the messages state that I have succesfully installed the app.  when I go to print a document, the repley says I need a samsung printer.  Is this correct or can I print to my HP8500?
