Welcome to the HP Community @ifar,

I saw your post about changing the date and time on fax confirmations for your Officejet 4630, and wanted to reply with my own suggestion. I would say to change the time and date from the Setup Menu on the unit, which should default to the fax confirmations.

On the printer front panel, access the Setup Menu, Setup Menu (Continued), Preferences, Date and Time, and change the date/time here.

If you have any troubles, let me know and I will do my best to help.

Hi,

Thank you for your assistance, however, the date and time were correct.  Any other suggestions?

Thanks for getting back to me!

Is the time and date of the printer actually incorrect on the fax confirmation? Are you seeing two different times and dates?

Perhaps you can try updating the Firmware on the printer: Finding the Latest Firmware Updates for Your HP Printer

Also try a power reset, and make sure the printer is plugged in directly to a wall outlet.

Test out the fax again and let me know what happens!

Your suggestion

On the printer panel  I don't have a set up menu but rather I have preferences from which I choose Date and Time.  The date and time were correct.

???Any other suggestions  (office jet 4630)

'm sorry I didn't find your last response till now as I didn't know how top navigate the web site. The time and date of the printer is correct and only incorrect on the fax confirmation.  I am seeing 2 different times and dates.   I will wait for a response  and then  I will try your suggestion of  updating the Firmware on the printer: Finding the Latest Firmware Updates for Your HP Printer  and  also trying a power reset  making sure the printer is plugged in directly to a wall outlet.

Thanks,
