I bought an HP printer and registered for instant ink. After a few months the printer stopped recognising devices. I replaced the printer and cancelled instant ink. After working for a while the new printer has given the error message low ink and is showing the instant ink icon. The cartridges have been replaced with HP cartridges and the error message remains flashing. how do I reset, I have been through HP website and cannot find a solution. Does HP instant ink have this effect?
thanks

Hi @Wendy-ST
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. Try the following:
- Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.
- While the printer is powered on, unplug its power cord.
- Wait at least thirty seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the printer.
- Wait for it to ask for ink cartridges.
- Install the ink cartridges.
Let me know if those steps worked for you. If they did, that’s awesome! Give us some reinforcement by hitting the solution and kudos buttons, that’ll help us and others see that we’ve got the answers!
