I am looking into this issue right now, but in the meantime I am going to continue seeing if there is a way to correct this issue.

I want you to disconnect both your iOS devices and your printer from your network and reconnect them, then attempt to print again.

Have a great day and let me know how this goes!

This is definitely a strange one. Are you able to get the current firmware version that you have on your machines?

I'll see if i can replicate this issue, and if I can I'll see what I can do as far as getting it patched. I'll also see if there is any workaround that still allows you to airprint without this problem ocurring.

Edit: Looks like neonskeleton is on the case as well, im sure one of us will figure this one out.

Tried dusconnectin and reconnecting all devices to the wifi network - no change. Print jobs still continuously spool. Watching the HP Print manager I can see the pages spool and when t gets to the last page of any print job, the manager says "waiting" then starts the print job all over again.

The firmware datecode on the printer is 20120901 and the version number is 20110824.

Thanks all!

its definitely the new firmware for the M1217nfw . We've got a p1102w as well and it works just fine with iOS devices. The m1217nfw worked just fine until I did the firmware update and now anything printed from Airprint prints continuously.

I tried installing the older firmware which I just happened to still have but I get a message saying firmware already up to date when I try to install it. For the record, printing to the m1217nfw from Windows works just fine, just iOS and Airprint.

Guys- It seems I am not alone with this multiple print from iPad issue - do you think there will be an update issued soon?

I can see a trip to pc world on the agenda.....

firmware updates are never quick, I am going to try calling support today to see if they will replace with a printer with older firmware on it

Let us know how that goes for you. I've already tried calling support and they said there was no way to roll back the firmware. I will be shocked if they give you another printer with an old firmware. I think will have to wait until they update and fix it with New firmware.

This is really poor from HP and I expected more, surely they would have tested the firmware before releasing it.?

Not happy at all and will probably take printer back to shop after one only 1 week - so what a waste time of time that was!!

HP get your act together.

I'm inclined to let them fix it. I've always had good luck with HP printers and I'm sure this is just a small issue by they will eventually get resolved. It's certainly not worth the hassle of trying to return a printer and getting a new one.

We just need to make sure the right people at HP are aware of the issue and are working on it.
