We purchased a new acer chrome book yesterday as our old one stopped working.  I have linked the new chomebook with our printer.  But when typing the ip address from the hp envy 4520 printer in to the chromebook so i can open up the hp webpage so we can scan etc the ip address is unknown but will work from an old ipad?

Thanks

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your post I see that you are unable to access printer EWS page from Chromebook. I would like to help you out with this issue today.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • How is the printer connected to the chromebook, USB or wireless?

Meanwhile:

  • Click here and follow the document and check if that works.

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Cheers.
