Officejet 7610
The attached photo shows a loose small ribbon cable that I taped to the cartridge carrier to prevent it from snagging on anything while printing.
Is there a possible replacement cartridge carrier or repair of this wire problem?

Hi @mgilcrist,
Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums for a solution to your printer issue.
I understand that you have an HP Officejet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-One Printer that has a loose small ribbon cable that you have taped to the ink carriage so it does not snag when printing and you would like to know if the carriage can be replaced or fixed. I will help the best I possibly can.
Thanks for trying to add a picture, for some reason it didn't come through.
I took a look at the HP Officejet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-One only to find that the ink carriage , which is also the printhead, is not a replaceable part.
There are also no authorized HP Printer repair services that I could suggest.
If the printer is in warranty it might qualify for a replacement if the printer was found to be broken from normal wear and tare. Paper jams can sometimes cause things like this to happen.
If the printer is out of warranty but needs to be replaced because the wire is snagging on print jobs, HP Tech Support may be able to help save you some money through their trade-in option.
