I recently purchased the HP LaserJet Pro 200 M276nw understanding that I would be able to do manual duplexing. However, after reviewing the instructions in the manual and trying to figure it out through various blogs I still cannot manually duplex.
The instructions say that I will be able to select manual duplex from the finishing menu under print... however, there is no such menu for me on any program and the "two-sided" option is greyed out. Please advise otherwise I may have to return the printer to find something that will work with the duplexing manual or auto.

Hi wegotjoy,
I see by your post you are unable to print two-sided on your Mac.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. The Airprint driver might be installed instead of the Printer's driver. (usually defaults to Airprint)
Click the Apple menu and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer name on the left side and on the right side of the screen should show the name.
If the printer name shows Airprint then that is the Apple drivers, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.
Now try and print two sided.
On the File menu, click the Print option.
Open the Finishing menu, and click the Manual Duplex tab or open the Manual Duplex
menu.
Click the Manual Duplex box, and select a binding option.
Click the Print button. Follow the instructions in the pop-up window that appears on the computer
screen before replacing the output stack in Tray 1 for printing the second half.
If the issue persists, then download and install the print driver to see if this will resolve the issue.

I have the same problem, as do many others looking at various forums. None of the "solutions" given by HP work with the latest drivers - the options they talk about just don't exist (e.g. duplex option in the driver).
I can't believe enabling 2 sided printing is this hard - come on HP, this is ridiculous - I bought a business printer to run my business and since changing to Mac I can't do the simplest thing. I won't make that mistake again.

Re...
If you cannot see such an option, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and click the plus sign.
Select the listed printer and set the Use drop-down as the pritner model rather than the default AirPrint option.. then the Manual Duplex option should appear.
The only drop-down I can see is the "default printer" one, which is already set to the name of the printer, and doesn't even have an AirPrint option. This is already selected, but I have no manual duplex option.

[I erroneously posted my reply to this to a similar post - whoops, but it is not resolved.]

Looking at how many views this thread has had, lots of people are interested. How about an up-to-date answer that matches the current UI HP?

Hi arilaskin,
I am just receiving this thread today. Sorry for the late reply.
You are unable to select two-sided printing from the print driver.
Since you don't have the finishing tab and the option to select the two-sided printing, the wrong driver might be installed. The Windows operating system has the finishing tab. So I provided information for Windows.
Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Download the newest drivers.
HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw.
Select your operating system, click next and click on the software to download and install.
Check the driver for the option now to do two-sided printing.
What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.
If you are using a Mac, please follow the steps below:
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer.
Try printing again.
If the issue persists, then download and install the print driver to see if this will resolve the issue.
