I was printing a .pdf file and it would not print out but tried to save it.  I have printed everything before up till now. I ran a test page it printed. turned off the printer and unplugged the power cord and nothing seems to work. I cannot find out what is wrong that is stopping my printer to print any file from pc to printer. This is a PIA and HP software is a nightmare.  This all started when HP sent me a notice to try HP Creations.

Yep. It checks that, the services needed to print, and a few other things. It can solve a lot of minor problems, like the one you described.

Are you just having the problem with PDF documents?

Can you print from Word or Notepad okay?

What OS are you using?

How is the printer connected to the computer?

HP designed a quick and easy tool that diagnoses and resolves many printing, scanning, and connectivity problems: The HP Print and Scan Doctor. HP recommends that you download and install the Print and Scan Doctor any time you need to troubleshoot a problem with your HP printer from the link below.

Let me know what errors you receive?

It turns out that print to file was selected and once unchecked i was able to print all files again. I have no idea how that got checked I never check anything unless I know I should or what will happen. Would the HP utility have found that.

@Fabianarchibold
Does the printer print blank pages? Or is not printing from your computer? Do you get an error message? What operating system are you using?

I'm using my iPad connecting to it through airprint when I send a page to print it doesn't come it comes out blank and  sometimes the pink print but not printing what it needs the print and when I do the test it says the ink is full but nothing is printing and I kept doing it so long until the bank ran out I brought this two months ago and only used it twice to print my resume and now I need to print something and it won't print it's acting up I don't know if it's just not connecting to the ink cartridges or if it's just malfunctioning

It sounds link you might need to get new ink cartridges. Have you purchased any new cartridges since you had printer? I would take a look at this document.

Printer does not print started with no black, just bought a new cartridge, and it does not print anymore.  Now no color  will print.

@Caroline1017, are you connected with a USB cable?

Do you get any color when making a color?
