Hey @50cr248,
Welcome to the HP Support Forum. :robothappy:
I see that you're curious about how to do two-sided copying and scanning with your HP Officejet 4632 e-All-in-One Printer. I would like to help.
Here's how to copy two-sided documents:
Make 2-sided black or color copy
- Load full-size paper in the paper tray.Figure : Slide in the paper tray
- Do one of the following to load the first original:
- Load the first original print side down on the right front corner of the scanner glass.Figure : Load original
- Load the first original print-side up, head first, in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).Figure : Load original in ADF
- Select Copy from the Home screen on the printer display to access the copy menu.If you do not see Copy on the printer display, press the Home button, and then press the Up and Down buttons until you see Copy.
- From the Copy menu, select Copies to increase or decrease the number of copies, and then press OK to confirm.
- Select 2-Sided to enable it, and then press OK to confirm.
- Select Start Black Copy or Start Color Copy.
- If you load multiple of 1-sided original in the ADF, press OK to complete.
- If you load a 2-sided original in the ADF or on the scanner glass, press OK, and then go to step 7.
- When the first page finishes, load the second original print-side up in the ADF or print-side down on the scanner glass.
- Press OK to start copying the second page.
As for scanning, this article from HP provides a solid run down on how to scan with HP software. You will want to use the ADF to scan multi-page documents.
Lastly, when it comes to printing, click here and have a look at the instructions under the 'Duplex Printing in Windows' heading.

Hi @lisa_12,
Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums!
I see that you're wondering if your printer is capable of copying 2-sided legal sized paper. I will certainly do my best to help you and please remember to return to this thread and mark 'Accept as Solution', if I have successfully helped you resolve the issue. If you wish to say 'thanks' for my effort to help, click the 'thumbs up' to give me a Kudos.
We have this printer in our lab, so I was able to confirm that your printer is not able of copying a 2-sided, legal sized document
NOTE: If you select copy settings: "Two-Sided" and "Legal" (8.5 x 14) and try to copy the printer will tell you that it cannot do that.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion. Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Forums! Good luck! 🙂
