I've tried the instruction in Travis_C post - but I have 10 files which start 7zS and none of them contain the file L4uninstall.exe, but a few of them do have Uninstall.dat files. Isn't there an easier way of rectifying this error??

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I Understand there's a parsing error in file c:\program files(x86)\hp\digital imaging\bin\hpqscloc\1033.xml
No worries as I'd love to help, however, I need a few more details to provide an accurate solution:
Is the printer connected USB or wireless?
When are you getting the parsing error?
What instructions were you following in relation to the 7z folder? do you have a link so that I don't end up asking you to do steps you've already done?
While most of the issues related to the parsing error have been solved, these steps aren't recommended by HP,
That said, if you wish to proceed anyway, Here's a related HP Forums post that seems to have helped many others: Click here
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
That'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.

Hi Riddle_Decipher. Well I'm not getting the parsing error now, instead I'm getting a message about unable to find TrayApp.msi when I try to open Solution Centre. I've tried uninstalling all HP features in Programs and Features but nothing happens. I've got a headache 😞

Thank you for the update,
I appreciate your time and efforts,
Don't worry, I've made up my mind to cure your headache and get the giggler back 😉
Hence, I found a few steps to help resolve this issue as well:
These types of errors happen because a software application has not finished installing correctly or because an application is trying to repair itself because a file is missing or a registry entry has been removed.
To correct these errors, if you have an installation disc that is associated with the MSI file, insert the disc and click OK. If the error persists, you can search for and browse to the file on your hard drive or reinstall the entire software package.
Do not try to replace only the MSI file. Instead, reinstall the entire software package that is associated with the MSI file. If the error is associated with printer or camera software, reinstall the printer or camera software to re-associate all of the links to the files.
You can download HP software applications from the Customer Care web site; or if the software originally came with the computer, you can reinstall them using the HP application recovery process.
For MSI files associated with HP Digital Imaging software (HP Image Zone), insert the installation disc that came with the last HP printer, camera, or scanner that was installed into the top CD/DVD drive. If the disc is not available, download the installation software from HP's Website, use Add/Remove Programs, to remove the current version, and then install the latest version you downloaded from the Web.
Alternatively, you can restore the program using the recovery manager as well: Click here for the details.
