Try / Consider:
Photo Paper and Trays
- If your printer does not have a second tray, print settings may yet believe Tray 2 is “installed” > Disable the ghost tray to allow the printer to find and print on photo paper / other tray / other paper:
Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers > Right-Click on your printer > Printer Properties >
Tab General > Change Properties (If available)
Tab Device Settings > Under Installable Options > Set Tray 2 to Not Installed
- If your printer has a Photo Tray, verify / set that Tray as installed:
Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers > Right-Click on your printer > Printer Properties >
Tab General > Change Properties (If available)
Tab Device Settings > Under Installable Options > Set Photo Tray to Installed

Hi grahame51,
Please try the below procedure:
>From the photo, once you select the printer & paper, you have to go into the OPTIONS, then printer properties, then go to the Paper/Quality tab, then to the Paper Source and manually select the Photo Tray.
If you are using Windows Photo Viewer, you may refer to this document Printing Photos. It has detailed steps on "Printing photos with Windows Photo Viewer"
Hope it helps!
