Hello, @mfritz2 – Hope you are well 🙂
Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! I’d be glad to be of your assistance!
I see that the “copy” option is not available on your printer screen. Let’s perform a power drain on the printer. Here are the steps:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
Now, check if you can see the copy option on the printer screen. If the option is still unavailable, capture a picture of the printer control panel and attach it to the reply so that I can assist you better.
If the copy works fine, then try to print from PC and check. If you face any issues while printing from the PC, then try to fix this issue using HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR). PSDR is an automated tool which can diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. Please go to http://hp.care/2bZ9w2q to download and run HP PSDR. Once you open the program, select your printer and click on “Fix Printing” to automatically diagnose and fix the issue.
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!
Good luck 🙂

Hello, @mfritz2
It looks like the image has not uploaded properly. Please take a picture and then attach the picture using the image icon. check the picture below for reference.
Alternatively, I would suggest performing a full factory reset on your printer. I am sending the instruction to your private inbox. Click on the mailbox icon in the top-right corner of this screen to access your inbox.
Let me know if that helps!
Cheers 🙂

What should the screen look like before I press anything? Presently it is on apps, photo snapfish and scan. There is a blank bar in the middle vertically See picture) If I press anywhere on this screen the closest option comes up. I dont get an opportunity to press the second BT or BL.
