- print color doesnt match original

i just bought this printer and i have printed the same pic from all three of my devices with the same result. none of them come close to matching th original. they are less sharp and a much lighter color. any help would be much appreciated beofre i take it back

Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!
I understand that you are getting bad print quality on your new Envy printer. To isolate the issue further, I’d suggest making a copy on the printer. Place a color document face down on the scanner glass and press the color copy option on the printer control panel. Let me know if it makes a good copy or not.
If the copy also comes out faded, then go to http://hp.care/2pt2kFy and perform the steps under “Solution 7”.
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!
