HP DeskJet 3630 All in One

After using the "All-in-One Printer Remote" app on my android phone to scan a document, I discovered that the copy function on my printer was no longer working.  What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Forums! I’d like to help you with the printer issue!

 

I understand that you are having issues while copying on your Deskjet printer. The AiO app has nothing to do with the copy function. Let’s try the steps below to try and fix the issue:
 

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
  • Now, place a document face down on the scanner glass and press the copy option on the printer control panel. Let me know if it makes a good copy or not.

Hello, @nicki9009

 

Is the scan and print functions working on the printer? Please try printing from your PC and also try scanning a document to your PC.

Let me know if any or both these functions are working.
