HP Officejet Pro 8610

Hello, my printer was working ok, but the colours were not printing true to life.  I tried to print a print quality diagnostic page and this prompted it to say the ink cartridge is damaged. Now it won't print. Please help.

Your problem is likely the same as mine - the firmware update from March is locking out non HP and possibly some older HP ink cartridges. This was done on purpose by HP. THe fix is to go back to an earlier firmware release for the HP Officejet 8610 printer - FDP1CN1502AR. I found it at [content removed] I downloaded it and installed it with no problems. I no longer have the problem.
