Printer will start to print job,

 "Printing document"

"Canceling"

Home screen

"Printing Cool-down"

"Printing document"

"Canceling"

"Printing document"

"Canceling"
"Printing document"

So only the first 4 pages get printed over and over again. I am not doing anything on my laptop to cancel the job except to cancel the job all together.

I have tried turning the printer off and on.

Re-installed the printer.

Any other suggestions?

Hi,

I see by your post that the printer keeps going into cool down mode.
I can help you with this issue.

Too many pages being printed at the same time may cause the cool down error.

Turn off the product and disconnect the power cable from the product.

Wait 30 seconds and then reconnect the power cord and turn on the product.

Wait for the product to initialize.

If the error continues, turn off the product, disconnect the power cable, wait at least 25 minutes and then reconnect the power cable and turn on the product .

If you are using a surge protector, remove it. Plug the product directly into the wall socket. Use the power switch to turn on the product.

I have tried this a couple times with no luck. It is now printing the very first page and than says, "canceling" and than "cleaning" and than prints the first page again. This is the very first page of the document that I am trying to print too, not the 50th or 100th or even 20th page. It won't print anything without going through this cleaning phase. More advice? Thanks

I am having the same problem with large documents, although smaller documents complete properly.

I am trying to print the user manual in booklet form using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, but after about 8 - 10 sheets (about half way through the document) the printer cancels the job before restarting it from the begining, over and over again.  The point at which the printer cancels the document isn't the same each time.

I turned the printer off, restarted the computer and tried to print the manual again, with the same results.

I have updated the printer's firmware to the latest version  (20151102).

All this in the first week of ownership

 .

Edit . . . . .

Having given up on the whole sorry mess I rebooted the computer and went to bed.

When I awoke this morning I discoverred to my surprise, joy and confusion that the printer had managed to print the entire user guide, but I have absolutely no idea how or why it decided to behave.

I will report back here when I have sent another large job to the printer, although I don't hold out much hope of uniterrupted progress.
