Thank you for your response. I'll start with the trouble shooting - I read all the similar cases and tried to press/hold other buttons whose combination is supposed to be "equal" to OK (I've got CROSS for Cancel, Arrow for Resume, Photoframe and ON/OFF Button).
What helped is that I put a new cartridge (yellow), of course it works. But in the "expired" one there's half of it yet! I still want to use it and need to find out where this OK-Button is/can be replaced with.
I know that another option would be to disable my computer/printer to recognize the level of the ink. But then the printer is not going to work correctly.
I didnt have any significant changes in my hard- or software apart from the current automated updates. The last time everything worked was about more than a month ago. The date on the expired one is 08/27/15, the "new" one - 11/27/15.
If there is a solution on a software level for that, please let me know.

Hi @FeeMe
Thank you for the information.
I believe you are getting the error message on your computer as the printer you are using doesn't have any display, so you need to press the OK button on the computer itself. As you have mentioned there is no OK button on the printer.
Here is the front panel of your printer.
Hope that answers your question.

Hi @FeeMe
As I have mentioned earlier there is no OK button on your printer. However, I recommend you to try pressing the cancel button and check if it helps.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi @FeeMe
There is no other option available. As you have mentioned that the printer works fine with a new cartridge, we are certain that the issue is with the expired cartridge.
If any other questions arise, please feel free to write back to me.
Take care.
Cheers!
