i need to scan documents in as pdf. Our printer laserjet 1536dnf MFP does not seem to support this.

Also would like to scan over the network, is that possible? We scan multiple contracts a day and is getting to be an issue scanning as jpeg and then converting to pdf as required by our clients. please let me know how to resolve this.

HP Recommended

According to this document it will scan to PDF, and yes you should be able to scan over the network.  To get the full scan functions you have to install the printer's software.  You can find a link to the drivers and software below. Hope that helps.
