Ok we have a Laser Jet CM1415fnw and the only option that it is giving is to scan to usb flash drive. How do we set it up for a wireless scan to the computer so we can just push scan and it will save to the computer. The cheaper version we had did this and worked but the paper was always getting jammed. We are now on our 3rd hp printer and having problems with setting the wireless scan up. Please let me know the solution.

Does anyone know if HP will offers or will offer a firmware update to allow push to scan (scan from printer to computer)?

Thanks

Who is the IDIOT who decided that "scan to computer" would not be supported on this model?

Even the most basic of MFP devices I have used have this feature. What on earth is HP thinking?

PLEASE fix this with a firmware update ASAP.

Hi it_fella,

Thank you for your comments about the scan to computer options. This feature is more common on the inkjet product lines versues the Laserjet product line. Are you able to scan successfully from the software?

Sorry...but that is really a dumb decision...and it needs to be corrected with a firmware update.

So why is the Scan "button" there in the first place then? What good is the scanner if you can ONLY scan to a thumb drive? Answer...NONE.

What is the trick to being able to keep a continuous count when scanning documents with Windows 7?  We're not sure Windows 7 is the problem, but we were able to set this counting up when we used the scanner with Windows XP.   We just  can't figure out how to make it work with Windows 7.
