The printer was not working correctly on Windows 7 so I deleted it and downloaded the driver from the internet. Now when printing double sided, the first page prints correctly but the page on the back of the first page is upside down. Please help me with this.

Hey @Jo38,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see that you are having some issues with printing two-sided from your Windows 7 PC to your Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer. I can help you with that.
What is happening is there is a two-sided option that allows you to switch between having to flip the page along the long edge or the short edge. If you go to where you selected your two-sided printing and change the printing to the other option, the second page will print with the correct orientation.
Please let me know if this resolves your issue. if it does, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

i also am having the problem, tried your solution with no correction, when telling me to change options, you need to be clearer, since you have no idea as to how it is set , so be descriptive as to exactly what option i need to set.

thanks for the help. i did get it to work.
the particuars i was working with were to try to print a booklet with 2 pages per side printed on both sides. using windows 7 and adobe acrobate reader 11. the instructions for the printer worked but kept printing the back side of the paper upside down, the solution was found on another forum along with the instructions from hp. they are as folows.
set up the hp print preferences for automatic 2 sided (make sure the device settings in printer properties shows 2 sided device installed), show flip pages up (it made no sence to do this but it is what allowed the booklet to print correctly, go into print using adobe acrobate reader for the pdf file, use booklet setting , both sides, landscape, auto rotate page, then print

I'm printing from MacBook Pro to OfficeJet 8720. Using Sierra operating system and iworks.
Two sided printing?
How do you get page orientation to not be reversed on second side of paper.
