Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a similar issue as others, getting the message "unable to connect to web service. Confirm internet access and try again." 

 

I have powered down the router and printer for a minute and brought router back up first, no good. The printer will accept wireless print requests, but will not allow scan to email. Appreciate any help.

It is not a new printer but has worked well since new. HP Photosmart 7520. The scan to email feature worked well until recently. I saw a thread from 2012-13 where users with this problem were asked to reset the manual DNS server settings and when this did not work, there was another approach that was not published in the forum but rather was emailed to the user.
