I have a HP deskjet F4440. It has always struggled connecting to our MAC. We would have to restart the printer or computer often to get it to print but after doing one or the other it would usually work. But now it will not connect at all.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. I have downloaded and installed the HewlettPackard Printer software from apple support. I restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled my printer. It shows up as "in use" but states "unable to send data to printer" when I try to send a simple text from pages to test print. When I try to scan it shows the scanner is connected, initially says "waiting for scanner", then pulls up "scanner not available".
Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!!!
