what is the Maximum number of pages to scan and email on 5740 all in one

I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 and using Windows 10. I also have a HP 5740 all in one machine.

What is the maximum number of pages that can be scanned and emailed at one time?  Sometimes I can scan as many as 8 pages and the attachment will come with the email.  Sometimes the email comes back with no attachments.

Hi @vkey

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are wondering about the page limit with scan to emails. I would like to help.

There isn't an actual page limit. It is really a file size limit. This is very similar to attachment size limits with emails. In general, 10MB is considered safe for the maximum size of an email. If you have a large document or there are a lot of pictures, it may be best to scan to the computer first. You will have the ability to reduce the quality (file size) or to use a third party program to compress or Zip the file. Then you can send the document via email.
