why not scan for email option not working ??

Why can't I scan for email? i cannot scan to my pc for email or for print from my printer HP 3835 deskjet, it keeps giving me install the hp software

but when i scan to pc it scans the document to my folder ,but when i hit the option scan to pdf or scan to email it gives me a message that it is not sent .

i tried to scan to email or scan to pdf from the printer option but it keep giving me the message ( The scan could not be completed .Make sure that the scanning software has been installed and configured on your pc)

It is already installed and configured on my pc .

If i try to scan through my pc and i choose the option scan for email the out look email gives me a message that it is not sent

when i scan to my pc the document is scanned and saved but any other option like scan for email or for print it gives me the above mentioned message ( The scan could not be completed .Make sure that the scanning software has been installed and configured on your pc)

      http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

It may fix the problem for you. If not, post back full error message(s).
