- EWS - what it is and how do I access it?
EWS = embedded web server and is a software control module built into most printers. It allows you to make all the settings from a web browser instead of using the control panel, also for devices with no control panel at all. In my opinion it is the most efficient way to make changes to a printer and also access printer information.
This HP article shows the various methods for accessing the EWS.
