With the following printer models, the HP Installation may extract but won't open on the latest Windows 10 versions. And you might see "can not delete output file" error.

HP LaserJet Pro P1100 Printer Series (P1102, P1102s, P1102w, P1106, P1108, P1109, and P1109w)

HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn Printer

HP LaserJet Pro M1130 Multifunction Printer Series (M1132, M1136)

HP LaserJet Pro M1210 Multifunction Printer Series (M1212, M1217, etc.)

Reason

That occurs due to changes made in Windows 10 on build 1803 or later.

Solution

Manually launch the installation wizard by right-clicking the Start button, select Run, paste the following executable path for your printer model and press OK, the installation starts.

HP LaserJet Pro P1102 / P1566 / P1606:

C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution\HpSetup.exe

HP LaserJet Pro M12 Printer series:

C:\LJPM11-M13_Full_Solution\HpSetup.exe
