Use genuine HP ink cartridges

Check paper and print settings
- Use clean, wrinkle-free paper.
- Make sure the correct paper type, size, color, and quality settings are selected.
- Confirm the file/document quality is good.

Check estimated ink levels
- On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, then touch the Ink Level Indicator icon.

Replace empty ink cartridges if needed
- Open the cartridge access door.
- Wait for the carriage to stop moving.
- Remove and replace any empty cartridge.
- Make sure each cartridge is fully seated.

- Load plain white paper.
- Swipe down on the control panel dashboard.
- Touch Setup > Reports > Print Quality Report.
