If you are having problems with the app at start-up, please exit and uninstall the app, then re-install it from https://123.hp.com/
Uninstall the app: 1. Click on the Finder then from the tool bar select Go then Applications. Locate HP Smart in Applications then drag HP Smart icon into the Trash.
Re-install from https://123.hp.com/: 1) Open Safari, enter the URL https://123.hp.com/ then enter in the model name of your printer then hit Search. Click on the Downloadbutton. 2) You should see a HPSmart.PKG file download into your Downloads folder. Double click on the HPSmart.PKG file to launch the installer and follow the prompts to install and launch HP Smart app.
