How to Download the HP App

  1. Open a browser on your device.

  2. Visit 123.hp.com.

  3. Search for your printer model.

  4. If available, download the HP App (if not, install HP Smart until the HP App becomes available for your region).

    • Note: The HP app is rolling out gradually and may not yet be available in all countries. Continue using HP Smart if the HP app isn’t shown for your printer.

 

Getting Started

  • Add your printer to the app for quick access to print, scan, and copy features.

  • Customize your device settings directly from the app dashboard.

  • Easily manage multiple devices from one place.

 

Upgrading from HP Smart

  • The HP App replaces HP Smart with new features and wider device support.

  • No data loss: Your printers and saved settings from HP Smart are automatically migrated.

  • Can I revert to HP Smart? No — HP Smart becomes obsolete once the HP App is installed.

 

Supported Languages

The HP App supports 30+ languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and more.

 

Printer Compatibility

The HP App supports most wireless-enabled HP printers released since 2014.
