Samsung Easy Document Creator is an application to help users scan, compile, and save documents in multiple formats, including.epub format.
If Samsung Easy Document Creator is not installed on the computer, install the appropriate printer software package for the Samsung printer model. The application is normally installed automatically with the printer software.
Supported operating systems: Windows and Mac OS. Minimum Windows requirement: Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later and Internet Explorer 6.0 or later.

Previewing a document before scanning.
Adjusting scan settings.
Saving a scanned document to the computer.
Sending a scanned document by email.
Sharing a scanned document through supported social networking services.

Check Before You Begin
Make sure the Samsung MFP is powered on.
Make sure the printer is properly connected to the computer.
Make sure the required printer and scanner software is installed.
If using the document feeder, make sure the original documents are loaded correctly.
If Samsung Easy Document Creator is not available, install the appropriate software for the printer model
Steps to Scan a Document
1: Load the Original
For a single document:
Place the document face down on the scanner glass.
Close the document feeder.
For multiple documents:
Place the documents face up in the document feeder (ADF).
Make sure the pages are aligned correctly.
Refer to the printer's User Guide for model-specific instructions on loading originals.
2: Open Samsung Easy Document Creator
Windows
Open the Start menu.
Select Programs or All Programs.
Open Samsung Printers.
Select Samsung Easy Document Creator.
Mac
Open Applications.
Open the Samsung folder.
Select Samsung Easy Document Creator.
3: Start a Scan
From the Samsung Easy Document Creator home screen, click Scan (Image).
Select the appropriate scan type or a saved favorite.
Click Start.
This allows you to modify the scan before creating the final scanned file.
5: Preview or Complete the Scan
Click Prescan if you want to preview the document before completing the scan.
Click Scan to create the final scanned image.
Review the preview to make sure the document is positioned correctly and the required content is visible.
6: Select the Destination
After scanning, select one of the available options:
Save to Location – saves the scanned document to the computer.
Send to E-mail – sends the scanned document by email.
Send to SNS – shares the scanned image through a supported social networking service.
7: Save or Send the Scan
Select the appropriate action:
Click Save to save the scanned image.
Click Send to send the scanned image by email.
Click Share to upload or share the scanned image.
Click OK when finished.
Scanning Multiple Items from the Scanner Glass
If there is sufficient space on the scanner glass, multiple items can be scanned at the same time.
Use the Image tool to create multiple selection areas around the individual items. This allows separate areas of the scanner glass to be processed as individual images.
