Symptoms

Unable to login into HP Account using HP Smart app (IOS, Android,Mac or Windows OS)

Diagnosis

The issue is due to older versions of the HP Smart app which is no longer support the login feature. 

Customer that are using the following HP Smart app version will be affected:

  • Windows 10: version 100 and earlier
  • macOS: version 3.6 and earlier
  • iOS/Android: version 6.3 and earlier
Solution
  • Get the latest version of the app from 123.hp.com or MS Store or App Store.
  • If user are using macOS 10.11 or earlier, set up the printer using AirPrint. For more information, go to HP printer setup (Mac built-in driver) 
  • If mobile device version is not compatible with the latest version of the HP Smart app, use a different mobile printing solution:
