Will depend on which one has failed. I would try the drive directly on the formatter at the back of the printer. I would replace that one first and see what happens. Bear in mind that you will need to replace it with a drive that supports SED and the drive must be a spinning disk as the controllers on this series do not support SSD drives.
Above is assuming that you have tried to boot the unit with absolutely no usb, wired or wireless network connections. Hard drive failures normally will show some type of 99.XX.XX error, not a 49 error. Also try updating the firmware, if it will not come to ready you may need to update the firmware through the preboot menu. There are also diagnostics in the preboot menu that will help narrow down the issue.
