How do I get my new OfficeJet Pro 9015 to stop printing in duplex?

This is apparently set as its default - I've never used duplex printing. When I go to the print screen, the default presets don't show any option to switch duplex on or off. There is a button that says "Duplicate" in the presets screen but it's greyed out. I can't find anything that shows a duplex setting anywhere in my computer's setting (MacBook Pro using Catalina). Help!

Hi,
Follow these steps to disable two-sided printing:

Open the file you would like to print. From the File menu select Print. The Print window appears.

NOTE: The Print window might be minimized. Click the Show Details button to see all available settings.

Click the Settings drop-down, it will usually appear as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

Select Layout from the drop-down menu.

Set the Two-Sided option as Off.

You may save the settings as a preset by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset...

By doing so and completing the print job these settings will remain default till another preset will be used in the future.

Shlomi

Thanks for responding so quickly. There is no "Show Details" button and no Setting dropdown. The only option seems to be "Show Presets" - when you go to this page, there isn't an option to change anything and there is no "two-sided" option. I'm at a loss. This is a MacBook Pro, if that's helpful in sorting out where I could find settings to adjust. Any other suggestions?

Could you please let me know what application you are printing from?

I'm printing from my MacBook Pro wirelessly using Catalina 10.15.6.

I think I've figured out a work-around. While the document I was trying to print didn't ever show a "two-sided" check box, I tried printing other multi-page documents until I I found one that had the "two-sided" box, which was checked as the default. I unchecked the two-sided box. Then I went to the Default settings drop-down and chose "Save Current Settings as Pre-set". So far this seems to have fixed the problem.
